Invader Game
Sangenjaya was the inspiration for Yongenjaya of Persona 5 (that’s the best post I have ever made on a forum). Such that there are multiple signs around saying no cosplaying. I also happen to go there regularly.
I went there in 2024 to photograph a remnant of history. Game Centers (arcades) weren’t called that originally. They were just called Invader Game. The legends were true, and Space Invaders was that popular. Stores were just called that.
In the bar district south of Sangenjaya Station is a sign still bearing INVADER GAME.
